 3. Users Located Outside the United States

If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws in these locations may differ from those in your country and may provide a lower level of protection. By using the Service and providing your information, you consent to this transfer and processing.

 4. Information We Collect

Personal Information

Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, professional details, employment or education history, location, or other non-public details linked to you.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including but not limited to:

  • Details you enter when creating or updating your account (e.g., name, location, phone number, gender, email, professional title, company name, employment and education background, summary, and password).
  • Information you submit when contacting us for support, feedback, or inquiries.
  • Content you post on the Service, such as text, images, comments, or messages (along with any profile information you choose to make visible).
  • Details from social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter) if you use them to sign in or connect your account.
  • Email addresses of friends or contacts you invite or import using our tools.

By sharing someone else’s contact information (e.g., for invitations), you represent that you have their permission to do so and for us to use it as described.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain data through cookies, log files, web beacons, clear GIFs, and similar technologies. This includes:

  • Device and browser details (e.g., IP address, device type, operating system, browser version, unique identifiers).
  • Usage information (e.g., pages visited, time spent, click patterns, referring/exit URLs, search queries).
  • General or precise location data (e.g., from IP address or GPS on mobile devices, if enabled).

You can disable location tracking in your device settings where available. For more on cookies and similar technologies, see the section below.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) and other tracking tools to:

  • Keep you logged in and secure your account.

These may include session cookies (temporary) and persistent cookies (longer-lasting). You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit certain features.

We may also use Flash Local Shared Objects in some cases; these can be managed via Adobe’s settings.

Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

We work with third-party providers for analytics, advertising, and content delivery. These parties may use their own cookies and tracking technologies to collect usage data. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
